Hi,

Having issues with a supermicro backplane, the only thing I've done was power off the server take out drive to confirm model#. Then placed drive back in powered up server then all of a sudden the backplane isn't being picked up by the M1015.. I've reseated the power connectors placed the backplace outside the case to see grounding issue. But no luck.. Has anyone else encountered this before? Not sure if the sas cable is the issue... or backplane just died? mode: BPN SAS 846EL1

M1015 can't see whole backplane.... Or can't recognised some drives ?

I have had it where it can't recognize some drive in the bays once pulled...

Grabbed a torch and had a look at the sas connections, and there were dust bunnies in them.

Paintbrush and some air to blow them out and all drives recognised once again.
