Superman builds a Ryzen system.

He should‘ve invited that guy from The Verge over and taught him a few things.
I have no idea how they felt comfortable with posting that horrid crap online. It looked like it was put together by a 5 year old, although a 5 year old might do a better job, actually.

I'm just glad that someone else has managed to put their AIO cooler on upside-down...and put off fixing it because "meh, it still works."

But really, wouldn't "Superman AND Eivor make a gaming PC" be so much cooler?

It would be for Eivor.

I don't know why people seem surprised when someone of fame and fortune turns out to be normal and down-to-earth. All success does is allow you to be more of who you already are; it doesn't really change you fundamentally. Just look on the flip side: the world is full of poor nobodies who are nonetheless snobbish assholes and divas.

Because good looks tend to ruin people, and we've grown used to that effect. Folks learn quickly they don't even need to try to have an ability or personality.

So, yeah, we like it when someone like Cavill ended up with a CHA 18, but didn't use INT (or alignment) as a dump stat.

This is a great video. I'm just curious which game(s) he built it for or he is getting ready for Cyberpunk 2077?

I called him dreamy and now the wife is mad at me.

HAHA! My wife hated it when I was building a new PC as I would get really intense when doing it so she'd try to be out of the house while was working on the new rig.

That being said I showed her the Henry Cavill video and asked she'd be OK if she was around when he built his PC and of course she said yes, lol. This is why I am back in the gym! 🤪💪🏋️‍♂️🤼‍♀️

I don't get it, is there an original video somewhere without idiotic cuts and music? Or is this just a publicity stunt ?

Well, Henry isn't your typical star... you must not know a lot about him. He's a full on PC gaming nerd - hell, he missed his call from Zack Snyder to let him know that he won the role of Superman because he was too busy raiding in WoW for heavens sake! Besides being an avid PC gamer, he also paints Warhammer figurines for fun and is an avid Sci-Fi reader. No, I think he's geniune here. Perhaps he may not have edited the video himself (I wouldn't be at all surpised if he did though!), but he definitely shot it and built a gaming PC. I strongly doubt this was put on as a "show" or a "gimick" - the dude actually is a nerd and is genuinely doing what he likes to do here.

I agree. Movies "stars" are real people just like everyone else. I never understood why people feel like everything they do is staged. Sure he could "act" at being a nerd because that is what he does for a living. But why bother? I agree he probably just wanted to build a PC and thought it would be cool to post a YT video showing off. I say more power to him. I just wish people would stop treating them like they are special. I never do. Hell I walked right by two major actors, one of which apparently tried to say something to me as I walked by. He got ignored like everyone else does in the hall when I am absorbed in my work lol (I wasn't trying to be rude...I legit just filter out people sometimes).

That being said...if he is such a huge nerd I would expect him to have an [H] account ;).

You sound very miserable.
Projecting much?
I was just curious whether he actually shared his own thoughts and said a few words during the build. I'd be interested to hear an actual down to earth celebrity for a change.

It isn't projection, it's stating an observation. Nothing you said gave the impression that you meant anything that you just explained. You could have just said that to begin with.

then theres that time he missed(ignored) the call from zack snyder saying he got the superman part because he was in a raid.
^ 'roids. You can work out 12 hours a day and you are not looking like that without juice. The only guys I've known that looked like that told me they juiced.

You haven’t been around much if you think that’s roids.

I asked if there is a video without music and cuts. Because everyone seems to be going on about how down to earth and cool guy he is. I don't get that because this cut up video does not prove that, so I asked if there is an original version.
You are literally projecting your own emotions into my legitimate question, but go on, continue doubling down.

It depends on the person as well as a number of other factors. Genetics plays a big part and some people win the genetic lottery when it comes to working out and putting on muscle. I happen to be one of those people. It simply doesn't take much for me to start putting on muscle and I can pack it on and make it look good. My father is the same way as is an uncle. In the case of the uncle, he works out for it while my father and I never have.

I'm willing to bet Cavill is someone who can put on muscle and keep it without needing to spend all day, every day working out.

Almost everyone else can do the same with fat ;).

Yeah just because someone looks like that doesn't mean its drugs. But hey if you cant do it so they must cheat right? Because everyone is exactly the same....

I'm not ... you just sounded miserable. Time for some introspection and less whining.

He might not be using steroids, but there's a good chance he's using supplements that would get flagged as "performance enhancing" by most major sports. At the same time...why shouldn't he? He's an actor who stands to get/lose jobs based entirely on his appearance. There's no WADA/USADA in the world of acting, so you might as well use all the tools you have available. It's not like the rest of the biz isn't also doing it.

And what "supplements" might those be?

HGH/TRT would be one common option. Not all performance enhancers are steroids, although people often take them with steroids to compound the effect.
HGH isn't illegal. Nor is it magic.

Where did I say anything about illegal? I said they would get you flagged as performance enhancing by most major sports, which they will.
HGH/TRT isn't magic, but neither are steroids. Plenty of athletes have gotten popped for steroids that are neither big/ripped or even successful.

I just like all the downplaying going on in here that's pure conjecture.

People use steroids for other things besides building muscle. It helps with injuries.
