Anyone with a Super Lanboy, did you have issues with gouges or dents on top of the side panels, really the top end? I've gotten 3 different ones and they all have it. I guess it's something I'll have to live with or take it back. I love the new P180, but I don't really want something that big.

I ordered mine and I didn't have any dents in my panels. I can see where it might be easy to get some in shipping, but not 3 different times. Who are you ordering from?

I got two, no problem.. Build one for a friend.. No problem built one for my parents.. no problem.

I'll wager you got it at Frys, and they are returns..

Bought them at Compusa. Unforunately I'm pretty picky about stuff like this, so I'll more then likely take it back unless Antec can ship me a side panel that's ok. I've emailed them to see what they'll do.

Maybe I should wait for the new stuff anyway.

those super lanboys are made from REALLY thin aluminium, you cant dent one just by pushing hard with your thumb.

These aren't really dents more like someone took a flathead screw driver and gouged out some metal. It's not huge, but is quite noticable. :(

Ok, I've seen 4 different ones now with the small dings on top of the side panels, on the very top, not sure how to describe, but I guess the top end. I'll take it they ALL have these to some extent. Not sure why. I think I've finally gotten one that is ok. Geez! Whatever happened to QA.

That's wierd, I just bought mine at CompUSA, and the case was fine. No dings.

You probably haven't looked as closely as I. I'm talking picky, to a fault probably. :)

Well, then it's just my luck I guess. Seems like every frigin thing I buy has something frigin wrong with it. :( I've been through mice before just trying to find one that doesn't have loose left/right buttons.

I've seen 2, for computers that I've built for friends. Bought both from newegg, both perfect condition. Sorry man, sounds like you got the fuzzy end of the lolly pop.

I ordered mine from some online place, and it came new in box without any dings.

fuzzy end of the lolly pop

Nice one. :)

Well, Antec is sending me a replace side so that rocks. Just hope it's free of dings and gouging.

So you guys had absolutely NO issues with the top ends of the side panels? I guess it's just my luck that maybe a bad QA batch came here to Charlotte and went to the 2 Compusa stores. I bought them from 2 different stores and no matter which one they still had the dings on the top ends of the side panels.

Well, anyway I can at least go ahead and move the guts of my machine over to the Lanboy and replace the side panel when it gets here the 1st. Damned ground shipping.

Gman, tried to PM you but it said you didn't accept PMs. so. . .

I saw your sig and was wondering if your EPOX temp readings are as eratic as mine are. I have an 4PDA2+ with a 3.0C and sometimes it gives me some completely wacky readings. Like a jump from 42 to 69 to 44. it wouldn't be that bad, but I have the high temp warnings set. I'll probably turn them off, but when I try to OC I want serious readings, and not the crap I'm getting.

It has nothing to do with SuperLanboys but there seems to be no other way to ask.

Maybe it's the fault of the guys stocking shelves at CompUSA. Maybe a disgruntled employee or one that thinks it's funny to damage stuff on purpose. Make'em take out the case and inspect it before you buy it...
