Last night I thought of putting the cold side of an A/C inside a sealed box which would also have the computer itself stored in it. The results turned out pretty good and I thought I'd share this with you guys. The box was made of wood since I already had it and the screws to hold it together. To seal the cracks between each piece that joined I used silicone and when all together used duct tape on all cracks. The large crack I had across the top ( no tape measure
just guesses ) I used Bondo to seal. the A/C I left pretty much assembled with the exception of removing the cover. I then placed the cooling side inside the box and hot side outside. The thermostat I just bypasses by wiring the 2 wires together. I drilled a little hold just big enough to get the wires through for the computer and then once they were in there filled around them with bondo. Since taking the pictures I have added a clear side to it, it's about 4"x4" so I can monitor the condensation. So far there has been no condensation I can see. Earlier the A/C fan was set to low and CPU temp was -3C when set on high it got to -12C. These temps were measured before I fixed the fan though which was making alot of noise and not really turning fast. I now fixed the noise ( bearing needed oil ) and now the fan spins like 2x faster. Here is a picture and a video.

Just for size comparison the monitor sitting on the desk is a 21"
I hope to hear some good comments on this but all are welcome.
