Sunbeam Core cotact, Modded to push-pull, 10C cooler temp.

Hey hi guys. I just modded my sunbeam core contact to push pull setup. I tried last night with just putting a fan behind the cooler. It dropped the load temp from 82C to 71.

So i took another step and made a shroud-like push-pull installation. Right now i have 78C highest at load. But i am assuming that because i reapplied the thermal grease. I think thermal grease need some time to give better performance.

Here is what i used. I bought this shroud to use on 77 bonneville heater core. But it wasnt a perfect fit to that heatercore, besides i cant install heatercore on my MM case that has thermochill fan spacing.

Very nice results, second fan really helps that heatsink out :cool:.
 
Wow that is one big ass cooler! Yeah I agree about the paste too. If that was your temp's on the bench they might change a little bit, go up, when installed in a case.
