Due to hot weather (30-35 degrees Celsius) and high power bill (350$ per month) I will have to stop folding for next few months. :(

See ya back in a few months.

Don't forget to hang out though ;)

I might have to stop folding in the garage and leave all the boxen currently inside crunching. It gets hot here in South Mississippi. Though it'll probably cool off as Debby gets closer.

Holy shit, I thought I had it bad at just over 200$ :(

I think I might to do the same or turn off the OCing. Just too f*ck hot in the house :(

I feel you man, I'm toning back as well, going to sell of my 4P while it's here doing nothing, plus I need the money lol, but I still got a 2500k and a 670 to fold on lol

We hit 70F two times last week! I had to open more windows than usual. Fortunately, it's cooled down again....

We definitely pay our dues during the long winters for our pleasant, cool summers.

This heat wave is going to put most folding equipment, and folders resolve to the test.
We've had a very mild June here in GA but the forcast for the next three days has suddenly started showing triple digits. One showing 108F.
I've lived here over half a century and do not remember seeing that number.

I like throwing out the "half century" thingy..... that is until I get the AARP brochures in the mail.

Had a power outage while in Singapore. Something wrong with the 2 machines I normally run 24/7, so I'll be down for a while. Hopefully no major damage, but not looking good at the moment. Summer pause is my excuse for the moment. Sorry guys... Back when possible, and considering an upgrade...

My house kept power, but internet keeps coming and going. Haven't had 24hs strait.and when it goes down it is for hours (if not close to a day)

I will spool up when ATT get it figured out. :(

These storms did a number on my community.

I can thank to our green fools - just support for solar power is around 10% of my power bill.

Too bad that I cant just shoot them.

Hopefully, I will not be flamed, but if you only paying 10 % of your power bill to green, renewable energy, who are you paying the other 90% to? 90% = $ 315.00 and their not the problem?
Back in the 1960's it was disclosed that the world uses about 19 TeraWatts of power at any one time. The Solar envelope that impinges on the Earth is more than 20,000 times that amount. I have attached links that you might find interesting or not as the case might be. Richard Buckminster "Bucky" Fuller invented the Geodesic Dome http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Geodesic_dome he also wrote a great book about our Planet travelling through the Solar System. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operating_Manual_for_Spaceship_Earth
If you would like to read more about Fuller, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Buckminster_Fuller
Best regards, Charlie
