well, its finally started to get warm here in the great state of wisconsin, and i had some cooling questions for you gurus. below is my speedfan box, please note that fan 1 is the cpu [zalman cu hsf], fan 2 is my rear exhaust, and fan 3 is my northbridge [nF4]

my temps are up about 4 degrees from what they were in the winter. i dusted my case today, cleared my filters, and moved some wires to increase air flow. I was wondering if you guys had any other tips for me so i can drop my temps a bit.....if it helps to know, i have a lian li pc-65b case

its about all you can do that is free is clean it frequently and not let dust settle (ditch the filter for more airflow)

for me: i open as much window as it permits

future mods: lap my all my heatsinks for better temps, get faster fans (sacraficing quiet  )

btw, don't think jsut cuz i undervolt my opty they run cool. these 2xx DC opty runs hot no matter how you slice it

Only thing i can think of that has worked for me. Open the Side Panel. My Antec PSU's fans move very very very slow it has made my temps go up 10c's. I open the Side Panel it dropped by 10c's back down to the normal 30 idle. But your going to eat alot of dust.

should i be concerned about humidity? It gets quite humid up here, should i be concerned with condensation or liquid gathering on my parts?

this caused me to make four holes on my side panel.. 2 120mm and 1 92mm and 1 80mm temps dropped

not unless you've cast some kind of magic spell that makes parts of your machine cooler than room temperature.

that or you're using active cooling of some sort.

condensation is something that i have to deal with, not you folks with safe air cooling.

your component temps are absolutely fine. worry more about cooling yourself during the summer heat, when running your machine. i have box fans venting air out of all bedroom windows upstairs to expell heat, and a few fans on the main floor bringing air into the house, moving them around to always draw from the shaded side.

curtains closed on the sunny side, open on the shady side to allow better airflow through open windows.

damn i wish that we had AC...........heat dump from my machine and my heatpumps is just killer. :|
