I'm looking for a good LCD monitor. Has to be 19' or above, atleast 1280x1024 native resolution and a good response time.

It's primary going to be used for Gaming so low/none ghosting is a must have feature.

My budget is around $600 USD but would be willing to go up to 7 or 8 if I could get something really kick ass.

Suggestions?
 
A dell 2001fp is what you want, period. 680 at dell right now. Can't go wrong with it.Here
 
The 2001 is pretty good. Another good moniter under $500-550 is the 19" Benq LCD. Real good plus it is 16ms, no/little ghosting.

That's a sweet screen. What's the response time on that sucker? It's not listed on Dells web site. Also what is the Native resolution, that's kinda unclear on their site also.
 
1600x1200 native resolution. Monitor also swings into portrait view (which I'm in right now) - not a deal breaker but a very impressive/useful function for a very good monitor in general.

Has 4 available inputs (VGA, DVI, RCA, S-Video), which may or may not be useful to you but is, again, a nice addition. It's not something I bought the monitor for but have used it on a few occaisions.

Not sure what else right now, but it's a great monitor and it has many happy owners, in addition to a few dissatisfied customers.

I, personally, recommend it.
 
samsung 712 at best buy. PERIOD! great refresh rate. and very efficient at gaming for an LCD
