Suggestions please

Ok I am a HUGE home theater/audio buff but am lost when it comes to PC speakers and brands ect ect..

I am moving my gaming PC (working on building a new one) to its own room and I want good audio for when im gaming out. Looking to spend $300 or less and I am also looking for a good headset mic combo or should I get two seperates (boom mic + headset).

Why dont you set up a small home theater setup for your computer?

A receiver that gets signal from the computer. Set all the speakers up from there.

That's a great idea! Can't believe I never thought of that. I game on my pc mostly but listen to music while I surf the net. I think this is the route ill go. Thanks!

I actually have a pair of old B&W bookshelfs I havent used in forever, all I need now is a decent receiver and I will be good to go!

I've never run PC speakers to my computer, even my old 486 with my original soundblaster 16 was hooked right into my amp (once it was demoted for family status and became mine).

If your using a modern soundcard you can output sound via HDMI or get a decent soundcard then all you need are amps for the speakers.
