I know there are a ton of these, and yes I have looked through them all. Here is what I put together, let me know what you think. Budget is $1100, need keyboard/mouse suggestions.

LITE-ON 20X DVD±R Burner with 12X DVD-RAM write and LightScribe Technology Black IDE Model LH-20A1H-186 - Retail $37.99

COOLER MASTER Centurion 5 CAC-T05-UW Black Aluminum Bezel, SECC ATX Mid Tower Computer Case - Retail $49.99

I need the system to have a wireless card, and would like a tv tuner. Let me know of any suggestion, or anything I a missing right now as this will be my first build.

Since you won't be able to OC with that board, you just need a cheap DDR2 kit that operates at 1.8v w/ 5-5-5-15 timing:
$145 - Kingston 2GB (2x1GB) DDR2-667 KVR667D2K2/2GR ($165 - $20MIR)
If you want to be able to OC (read below), this ram will do fine:
$185 - G.Skill 2GB (2x1GB) DDR2-800 F2-6400CL5D-2GBNQ

If you did want to OC (since these chips can OC very easily without sacrificing any stability), then go for either the P5B-E, P5N-SLI, or GA-965P-DS3. If you need a cheaper board, go for one of these:

$100 - Foxconn P9657AA-8KS2H Socket T (LGA 775) Intel P965 Express
$105 - Biostar TForce965PT LGA 775 Intel P965 Express
$109 - Gigabyte GA-965P-S3 Socket T (LGA 775) Intel P965 Express

Go for the Centurion 534, since it has 2x120mm fan holes (one exhaust; one intake). It's also the same price:
$50 - Cooler Master Centurion 534 RC-534-KKN2-GP Black

This is what I would change:

XCLIO GOODPOWER 500W ATX 500W Power Supply - Retail $51.99

Get a good PSU, it's worth it to spend a few extra bucks for quality when it comes to PSUs. Thermaltake is a goo bang for the buck in my opinion, at $60 AR

CORSAIR XMS2 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual
Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model TWIN2X2048-6400 - Retail $221.00

why would get such expensive RAM? DDR2 667mhz should be more than fine to you.

Kingston has a killer deal right now for $68 per gig, shipped, no rebates:

also, get the E4300 here for $163:
http://microcenter.com/byos/byos_single_product_results.phtml?product_id=0252152

and don't you want a video card? If you do, get a 7600GT or a 7900GS!

Alright so did a little changing. Switched out the cases. Added the kingston ram. Slapped on a 7600gt Bfg tech at $96 AR. Also changed the Mobo to the DS3.

Total as it sits after that would be -

948.88

That leaves 150 for keyboard/mouse.

Lmk what you guys think

Uhm, the Thermaltake is worse than the XClio. Read up on PSUs. Start at the PSU Subforum. If you want thermaltake, stick to their toughpower line. Otherwise, nice find on the ram and cpu.

@OP: A popular kb these days is the Logitech G15. I really suggest goin to compUSA or Fry's (or whatever computer store you have) and check out the keyboards, so you get a feal of how they are. Then, order the one you like online, hehe. Same with the mouse.

Oh yah, some people are having cold boot issues with the DS3 Rev2.0, but I'm not (know of two systems with this board using F7 BIOS). Theres a topic in the OC'ing/cooling subforum. Read up on it. I just want you to know of the issue, and that it COULD affect you; though it doesnt affect the two systems I built and am still in contact with (I'm not in contact with the other 8 or so systems that I also used the DS3 on, so I dont know if they have this same problem or not).

Thanks for all the help guys. Actually like the g15 that I tried, so I will be picking one up. Also looking at the mx518 mouse.

Well to be completely honest I don't know the XClio, especially because I'm not american, so I've never seen that brand before, so sorry for my mistake! :)

@OP
I love the MX518, definitely go for it!

Personally I'm not a huge fan of the G15, I've had it for a month and I didn't like it all that well... The Saitek Eclipse is my pick:

EDIT: Oh and don't forget, you wil need a decent cooler if you want a nice stable 3Ghz + for day to day use, and I suggest the thermalright ultra-120, a tuniq tower (if you can find it) or a Big Typhoon
