Alright, here's the situation:
I'd like to move a shared printer off of an employee's PC and share it over the network via a dedicated print server. Two reasons: 1) If the PC is shut down, some of our business software throws a fit because it can't print, and 2) I'm about to have to move the printer to a different PC, which means I get to reconfigure the server once and want to avoid it in the future.
I only have one network jack per office, and so I will have to get a hub unless there is a print server with an integrated hub/switch.
I've seen a number of Router/switch/print server combinations, but I don't know whether I would be able to disable routing on those.
Cost is a major issue here, I need to keep it under $100 if at all possible. Products have to be new and from one of my current vendors, so no trying to sell me stuff![Smile :) :)](data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7)
So, what do you guys suggest?
