Im updating my rig and i need a good motherboard and cpu(AmD), i want to to be able to play the normal shooters, unreal04, farcry,battlefield. i dont need or want the best just something that will do the job right. :confused:
 
if it were me id go with something like a barton 2500 or 2600 and overclock the cpu as for the mobo, I just cant recommend anything other than an Abit NF7-S rev. 2
 
I was going for a similair setup as you and I picked up a Shuttle AN35N-Ultra motherboard and a 35 Watt 2400+ Mobile. Hopefully I can o/c it to 2.4, at least, should be here soon :D. $140 total.
