Suggestions for cutting out a window

Hey,
I'm looking to do my first acual "mod" of sorts, so I wanna begin small and just cut out a window on my case panel.
Can you reccomend the best tool to do that with?
Also, what should I line the edges with?
Any tips would be greatly appreciated.
