Suggestions for an All-In-One printer

Hi all,

My mom just got a new laptop (should arrive in a week), and she wants to get a new printer. She looked at a couple of all-in-one models, but wasn't sure what to pick. I'd like to help her find something nice, and easy to work with.

Ideally here are some of the features I'm hoping to find:
Good scanner (photos and documents, no need for film)
Good photo quality (pretty high on the priority list)
Good text/document quality (probably highest on the list)
Standalone copier function
Fax (very optional)
Networkable (mandatory)
Wireless networking (in a perfect world)

I've used HP printers in the past, and recently switch to an Epson R220, and
have been very happy with the quality. I haven't looked into the combo units though
so I don't have any experience in that area.

I know that a printserver can be added, and that I can use a wireless one. I just don't know how that fares for scanning capabilities.

The Canon's are consistently rated higher than the other brands.

I buy ONLY Canon inkjets these days. No clogged heads, works right every time.

And the ink tends to be cheaper (as long as it's a separate-cartridge model).

and i included a link in that thread for cheap ink for it that comes out to $10.50 to fill the printer up. not bad at all! i get my ink from that website for my canon i960 and i haven't been disapointed yet.
