So i'm kindof getting tired of my old case (pics below) and my PSU sucks and its been causing a few problems lately. So do you think these two upgrades are worth the money?

PSU: http://www.xoxide.com/x-connect-500-uvblue.html
CASE: http://www.sundialmicro.com/cooler_master_computer_case_atc210bvx1_1701_211.html

Pics of my comp right now:

unless you want to mod the hell out of the CM case for good (or even decent) airflow......dont bother. I have it, and unless i want to destroy the classy look of it with a 120mm blowhole in the front - there isnt much else I can do.
I bought a Stacker anyway for the room I need but yeah......
Nice case quality on the CM unit though. Too bad it just doesnt have enough room for me.

Then again if you look at Liquid_Cooled 's old setup (ATC210), he seemed to be doing just fine with a single120 rad setup.

I don't think he is planning on watercooling from the look of his current PC. I say go with the case. It looks like you'll have the same room inside. As for the PSU, some people will tell you that they are bad, while other people will tell you that they are good. I suppose they are kinda a mixed bag.

Yeh, i'm not planning on getting watercooling, atleast not right now, so I think the case should fit my stuff fine. The PSU did get like a 95% review on hardcoreware.net so they really liked it. And it looks sweet and who can't love those detachable cables!?! I do want another first hand review though, so anyone that has it, I'd love an opinion!

If you can't get a 2nd opinion, I would suggest the Antec modular PSU, I hear its really good.

well then you'll have plenty of room....

however all you'll have is 2 80mm exhaust fans, so if thats ok with you then the case is perfect.

Do NOT get the Ultra X-Connect PSU, they're pretty much a gimmic (well, not really, but their quality is lacking), I'd say go with the Antec NeoPower 480. I have one and it's nice. Everything is modular except the man power cable, which IMO doesn't need to be modular.

i went with the Super-Flower/TTGI 550w psu.... 85% modular and a super quiet 140mm fan. hotness imo.

I don't really see where this case would be drawing air in. In fact, from the description, it only has 2 rear exhaust fans. While this case would be a nice one for someone who intends on water cooling, I think it would suck for someone who is only going with air cooling. I am not trying to say that it does not look nice, in fact, I like it's classy looks, but it greatly lacks in the airflow department.

well what I might do is mod an extra hole in the top of the case for a third fan, have both of the top fans intake, and the back one exaust... or vise versa?

really the main reason for me even getting this case, besides that I like the look of it, is to kindof get away from that "premodded" look that you might find at xoxide.com or something. The case also doesn't come with alot of "extras" that those others do, which are nice to have :)

that wouldnt really be ideal airflow though and then if you made them exhaust, you'd have 3 exhaust fans and NO intake fans.
even if you made the rear fan intake, its still not great airflow whatsoever, too many dead spots unless you mod a blowhole in the front - which could potentially ruin the sleek look of the case if not done PERFECTLY.

yeh.. well I think my comp should be able to hand just those two fans. im not too sure though..

Get a CM Praetorian then. Its the same case with front intakes. And the front is different.
