• Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.

At the risk of being redundant, I know a lot of IT pros surf the boards regularly. It may be an idea to have an IT Pro corner that we can swap tech support issues with each other for things like Ghosting machines, Disaster Recovery, integration, directory services etc. It may be redundant to a degree, but a lot of the stuff here has to do with smaller networks and hardware like building a game rig...which is fine...but perhaps an enterprise level forum? Just an idea to kick around....I know Apple and Novell are my strong suit and that there are plenty of other boards for this kind of stuff, but its nice to keep it in the family ;)

We have it all ready, actually its a series of forums.

We have The Bits and Bytes Section.

Operating Systems
General Software
Networking and Security
Webmastering and Programming

Here you will find a bunch of IT Pro's that are looking to help people out. Since you are also an Apple Guy, hang out in the Mac Fourm and make your self known for helping in situations. Post a thread saying that you are there, and will try and help when you can. Its the best way.

Cheers,

As I said, at the risk of being redundant...with a seperate forum topic you can cut out alot of the home variety stuff and concentrate on Enterprise level stuff. More along the lines of a professional network, policies, remote management, disaster recovery, Network Operating systems etc. Most of the stuff in the forums you mentioned are better suited to a small home network. You really have to drill down to get to the stuff you would find helpful corporate wise. Just a suggestion...

i would like that too. i try and use the board for issues i have here at work, and rarely seem to get a serious answer.
