Hello first time builder and im on a budget so processor im gonna pick is

X2 4000+ Brisbane for $60 shipped @ newegg

What is a good cheap motherboard to go along with this processor good with over clocking obviously.
 
I wouldn't get that motherboard. Looks like it's lacking a lot of things. It also has onboard graphics which are just a waste. I have an M2N-SLi Deluxe and I love it. $120ish so it mig ht be out of your price range but it lets me OC my 4000+ to nearly 3.0ghz.
 
well why not go the intel way and get this . It's got a deal when you buy the board you get an e2180 for 74.99, @ newegg the 2140 is like 78.99 or something. Im not sure if you can afford it. After reading tons of reviews that combo seems to be a pretty good bargain package OC wise. You can crank up the e2180 to 3ghz with that board esily. ARGH I'M STILL WAITING FOR ALL MY PARTS TO BE DELIVERED SO I CAN PUT TOGETHER MY MACHINE! :p
