If you have read all the info on how to overclock and are just trying it out... Don't get discouraged if it doesn't go right the first couple of times. I tried and tried, but had no success until I hit 3 Ghz at 1.35 Vcore, I was extatic. Then my games we're freezing and stuff was messing up. So I set everything back to normal and forgot about it. Then I got a wild hair up my #@$ and tried one more time, exept this time I set the Vcore at 1.4 volts and stable as can be... So remember, your voltage is very, very important when overclocking!!! Thanks!

While this is true if you own a 45nm chip your max voltage should stay below 1.45, on 65nm chips 1.55 is the max voltage you would want to stay at unless you are on water then 1.6 would be ok. Just remember overclocking doesn't always work on the first try, it may take a few tries of different values to get something that runs stable. But to all new oc'ers have fun and remember don't strike for a 100% overclock :D
