Since my video card just recently died, I need a suggestion for a temporary card within the 50-100 price range preferably with directx 11 support. I'll be gaming quite a bit so it doesn't matter if it's a raedon or nvidia based card.

Specs of system?

Look into used HD5770 and GTX460 cards.

What is your PSU and processor? And yes, GTX 460 will fit great here. I wouldn't consider HD 5770 since they cost the same, and GTX 460 much better (~25% better).

I have a pentium dual core e2180 and a corsair 400 watt psu but I plan on upgrading the psu at the same time as I upgrade my graphics card and then upgrade to a better cpu later on.

what res are you playing at and what gpu did you have?

you don't need a better psu for something like a gts450, 5770 or so. that cpu is pretty poky though and will slow you down in many games. also how much ram do you have?

HD 5770. Maybe...GTX 460 if you can find a great price or open box item.

Where can you get a 5770 for $100? GTX 460s haven't even come close to $100 yet.

New, your best choice for a dx11` gpu is a 5670.
Used, you are looking around a 450gts at best for dx11.
