Subteam Face-Off for future race?

So what do you guys think. We talked about this some before, and with the other contests ending somewhat soon, it is time to look at what next.

Subteams.. yay or nay?

Would be based on the entire folding population of the [H]orde
but will have limits on the amount of people per team and
what type of power you bring in for your team (at least during the start)

Feel free to discuss.

(users will still retain their own individual user names, and points would be
computed similar to the current race)

Doesn't really do it for me. Why waste valuable processing time figuring out these kind of stats when it could be folding.

eh i use a calculator, so no cycles wasted that way

And just for something "fun" to do and help to keep people active and talking
to each other in a good way

I'm all for it, and as with the UD and F@H races, am more than happy to help run it. I think the team aspect of it, a little healthy, friendly competition in the ranks would be good. Get's people talking, maybe some trash (marty, oldben....) and enhances the team aspect, after all at the end of the day, we're still one big team.

For the most part I think it'd only be the people who hit up this forum on a regular basis. Out of 1700 people how many do you think stop by?

I'm not one to be in a small group, like in high school had friends in every group and never got into any one group. I like a big team idea. That's my $0.02 for what it's worth.
