Subscribed icon?

How about showing the subscribed icon so we know which threads we have subscribed to? Sometimes I subscribe to threads so that I can mark it (but so also I don't have to reply to it in order to get the dotted icon).

It is enabled by default I believe; it's like this: http://img236.exs.cx/img236/6177/subscribed3fa.jpg

Well because the feature that I am talking about is on by default, and so it is normally very helpful in many forums.

You are subscribed to a thread when you post in it. After you post in that thread the icon turns yellow.

it's probably a matter of database load, not how easy it is to turn on.

Well, the query that it requires doesn't really put that big a load on the database. Also, the database at the moment is nice and speedy, and this feature would surely help out many people as well.

I dont think I have seen to many forum options changed by requests (if any) so you may be just wasting your breath.

yeah, they usually have to have a fairly good reason if they do it too..

Cant say I know deron williams. The Colony is about a 2 mile stretch of a highway long and a mile or two north&south. More or less 5 main thoroughfares. The Little Elm bastards to the north screw up all our traffic.

As for the topic at hand..at least you are trying Gary and maybe someday they might come here for an overhaul of the forum (they have to upgrade at some point) and take some of the many requests into consideration.
