As multi-axis CNC milling and 3D printers are becoming more mainstream we are starting to see an abundance of front page articles talking about them. I am sure I am not the only one on [H] to be into CNC / 3D printing. As this hobby is directly linked to computers would it be possible to have a sub-forum to discuss said devices?

It would be up to Kyle, of course, but I haven't really seen enough threads for this topic to warrant its own forum.

I don't know if we need one just yet... But we will (there are certainly quite a few people on here into 3D printers I'm sure). I guess why not just put it in now?

Prehaps instead of it being a CNC and 3D Printer sub forum you should probably start with a Printer sub forum instead. This could include CNC, 3D printers, all-in-ones and other devices that create physical objects/medium.

Most "printer" related discussions I see around the forums are asking for recommendations on the best printer for their specific job. Even then it's not a whole lot.
