Happy new Year!

I want to start this year with an update on my itx build.
The HD Plex plus the 350watt voodoo power brick was tested.Everything working great.

I was inspired by the guys here doing awesome work using HD Plex.Thank you!

For this build I plan to use a Galax GTX 970 mini.
the $10 case:

It's 19.5cm x 17.7cm x 11 cm-Motherboard side height for cooler is 5.4cm-gpu side-4.5cm

1mm aluminum mobo tray cut and bent
I used 6mm tall plastic stand offs with plastic nuts (also act as stand offs to keep the gpu backside from touching the tray/inner frame.

I/O area is at the bottom for a clean look. I will do a custom stand.Probably u shaped plexis. Ideas?

That's all for now :D.Waiting for the Cryorig C7 to arrive.
GPU is due next month. At least I know the mini 970 will work.

First, awesome! Next, suggestion .... The wires that ship with HDPlex are usually way too long. Leaving you bundling and cramming unused wire into whatever precious excess space you have. Track down some low profile and short ATX power wires if you can. Good luck and subbed!

Hey thanks guys..I'm doing this on my spare time and it's just for the fun factor plus it's always cool to see random home items used as a pc case-humidors, subwoofer , broken game consoles, r/c car shells etc...Why the heck not. right? I have a mini guitar amp but It's still working So, lunch box it is....LOL.

Regarding the wires, the 24 pin and the EPS are standard -same cables used by silverstone for their modular models-The flat cables.I will see if I want to use those.

The HD plex ones are long but the wires are thinner so more flexible. Some wires will go between the mobo and tray and out of the way of the pcie riser cable. The sata cable will go thru to the psu side on the left.
.
The pcie cable however will become a problem until I figure out a mod for whatever Cable Galax has provided and use that instead..

I just need at least 18cm of wires from the HD Plex to the GPU.That is if I decide to rotate the psu where the psu connector will be farther from the GPU connector(s).If not, the connectors will be like 5 cm apart.Right now, I'm wishing manufacturers will come up with a 90 degree connector for gpu like sata angled ones.
