Hey guys,

I'm in new territory with the current build. I am using a Corsair Air 240 case, and the cpu cooler height limit is 120mm. I've always used either a CM Hyper 212 variant, or a Corsair AIO liquid cooler.

This time around I don't want to go the liquid cooler route, and a Hyper is about 30mm too tall to fit.

I just bought a 3570k off a forum member last night, and I'd like to have some headroom to overclock it just a bit to keep up with my EVGA 970.

Can you guys provide me any suggestions for lower profile air coolers that will fit in my case?

Thanks very much!

Where are you located? Makes a big difference is availability and prices. ;)
AXP-200 is good. I've found pancake coolers usually cool better with fan pulling air out of cooler rather than pushing in.
* Reason is pushing in the air hits mobo, turns out, hits GPU-RAM-I/O housings, turns up past cooler and is sucked back into fan.
* When fan is pulling out of cooler air is flowing across mobo, into bottom of cooler, up out of fan and moved out back of case by case front to back airflow.

I've seen 5-8c lower CPU temps pulling instead of pushing.

I'm in AZ, USA, so I have access to major etailers.

I'll look into both the 200R and the AXP 200

Many thanks gents.

Man those are pricey! For 90 bucks I might as well go the AIO route, jeez!

:) More investigation necessary.
