I had these choices in mind:

9800np/pro
x600np/pro
x700
6600

I just need a card to outperform my mx440. I just want to play HL2 with decent fps and since these are all dx9 cards, they should do the trick. Anyone want to sell me a card as well?

Oh yea, this is for my agp computer, so no pci-e really :( (don't even know if the X series or the 6600 are even agp).
 
The 6200 (if you don't unlock it) will be about the speed of 9600Pro. If you manage to unlock it, you get a much faster card - if you don't unlock, you could save a fair bit of money by going with the Radeon (and actually come in sub-$100)
