I am moving into a new apartment, and I am trying to furnish it with some nice, modern looking furniture...

It seems to me that my 25 dollar office depot utility table that holds my four 17 inch monitors just isn't cool...

Neither is having four monitors.

So I am getting rid of two, and keeping two...

What I need now is a strong, stylish, modern looking office type table that can comfortably hold two 17inch CRT's efficiently...

Any suggestions? I have already checked out www.designtechnica.com and www.desks4computers.com

Personally I would go your local Office Depot/Office Max/Staples and see what they have. The benefit there is that you can actually see how strong they are and how easy it is to work at one. Also you might check out Home Depot/Lowes as some of them have desks.

edit: just reread your post and saw that you said you were looking for a table. As for that I don't know. Most tables aren't stylish last time I checked but you might get lucky. Check you local furniture stores. They might have something interesting/fits your needs

I'm looking for desk for junior year next year when I move into an apartment, and I have pretty much the same demands (excpet with 19 inch monitors).

That Mid Atlantic furniture is some sleek stuff, but how much are we talking here?

I like the look of it, but with some mdf, laminate, and a good eye, you could build something pretty close to that.
Plus you could customize it to exactly what you want.

Try one of these, great for multiple monitors:

Actually, its 150 lbs of monitors but who is counting. And if it falls, I won't know it.

I'm still a fan of this style:

sure it's not too stylish..but...I still <3 it

Buh, it's that orange-and-blue P4 logo. I like my green-and-blue one better. :->

well...

it works.

the blue and orange match the lights around the house.

DVD player: blue LED

Desktop: blue & orange LEDs

LAptop: blue & orange LEDs

Klipsch ProMedia 5.1: orange LEDs.

I do need new wallpapers.

if your planning to put it in a corner you could by a desk that can hold 2 monitors well and wall mount the other 2 that would look really nice just a suggestion thoe

you just can't beat the dual flat pannels....

This is the desk I have. It holds 2 19"'s nicely. It's from ikea. I'm pretty sure they are still selling this one.

The only thing you will think is a little strange are the two posts that go up the sides of the monitors. They are from an optional shelf that can fit over top. I didn't like it but they make great speaker mounts.

The side shelves are nice you can buy extra shelves if you need them.

I am using a home made desk. Was built for Video editing but works great for my large screens.
