stupid prebuilt computer motherboard

i gotx a prebuilt computer motherboard in mi sony, and i can't seem to do anything in the bios... Is there any way that i could somehow reflash the bios with sumthin else with out killing mi system? or is it jus a better idea to get a new motherboard?
