I am trying to sleeve my power cables inside my rig murder-mod style and I just can't seem to get the PCI-e plugs off for the life of me. I had a few extra PCI-e cables that came with my PSU that I figured I would start with (since I won't have to turn my computer off for that) but it's a no-go. I can't seem to get it to work for the life of me.
I understand you stick two staples in either end of the connector, and you should be able to pull the connector out? I can't do it with the staples, and I also can't do it with the ATX pin remover tool thing. Is there a special trick to PCI-e plugs?
