In July I went all out and got a Abit IC7-max3 mobo for $180. Was that a mistake with the new PCI-e what were a couple months away? My 9800 pro is no longer performing to my standards with new games and I am looking at the 6600GT as an upgrade, but they are only out in PCI-e right now. What should I do?

Get a PCI-e mobo (need suggestions on those) then get PCI-e video card around Xmas.

Wait for the 600GT AGP version.

Get 2x512 Mushkin PC4000 RAM for $300 and sell my BH-5 for about $140.

Save my money for an upgrade of all three around Xmas.

Any opinions?

grab a 6800gt or 6800nu(this performs better than the 6600gt) and u can find them for 249$ at bestbuy or frys and the 6800gt is about 400$ anywhere and is twice if not more than ur 9800pro also a 6600gt wont make a big difference from ur 9800pro... but the 6800nu willl make quite a difference and the 6800gt will be 100%+ faster..
