Study: Video-Sharing Usage Nears Half

Let me see if I have this right….almost fifty percent of the people on the internet have watched a video online, up from thirty three percent last year. Fifteen percent of the people even uploaded a video, up from eight percent a year ago. Fifty three percent of the people using video sites are women, forty three percent men and seventy percent of people under 30 have used a video site. Fourteen percent have even recorded a video to put online, up from six percent in 2006. There are 114 words in this news post, eleven percent of them are the word “percent,” up from zero percent in my last news post. :D

According to the Pew Internet and American Life Project, 48 percent of Internet users have visited such a video-sharing site at least once to watch or post video, a growth from 33 percent in December 2006. On a typical day, 15 percent of users watch or post a video, up from 8 percent a year ago.

You do realize, the number you quoted is typically 2 to 5 times higher then the “pros” use in the political campaigns?

Of course we have seen how accurate those have been this year:rolleyes:
