Another study has come out saying that gamers make better surgeons. I’m not saying I believe all these studies but just to be safe, the next time you’re in the ER, ask for the doctor wearing the Atari t-shirt.

Out of 33 surgeons from Beth Israel Medical Center in New York that participated in the study, the nine doctors who had at some point played video games at least three hours per week made 37 percent fewer errors, performed 27 percent faster, and scored 42 percent better in the test of surgical skills than the 15 surgeons who had never played video games before.

37% fewer errors? How many errors did they make? And how low-ley were the observers? It's a bit harder not to mess up when you know someone's watching to write down when you do.

I just hope these surgeons were not into drinks like red bull or cocaine. Shaky hands and surgeons = paraplegic.

Test does not contain enough data to come to a conclusive finding.

I would believe that. The military also knows gaming/video skills translate well. Kids brought up performing intricate skills on computers can use other GUI's well also. Its like people who are good at piano are excellent typists and vice versa. No real surprise here. Plus gamer kids tend to be pretty sharp.
