I can't even spend 2 hours w/out my computer. When I forgot my laptop at work (my only computer at the time) I had to resort to using a Live CD of ubuntu just to check my email. When everyone was using every computer in the house (and we had 7 computers). Sure, it made me remember linux commands, but it wasn't fun.

During deployments it doesnt bother me in the least. Granted I got my mind on other things. When I'm in the states on normal hours then yea being without a computer kind of sucks, but still I "unplug" every now and then for a few days.
To be totally honest it's not the computers that makes people come back to them, it's the internet. A computer without the internet other than work related usage is worthless imo.

I once went for 3 days without a computer. got hit by lightning. It was miserable. And I think for the first time in awhile, I spent my day infront of a TV
internet connection is equally important too. Longest I went without one was 6 days. broadband service got screwed and it took them so long to fix the damn thing. Equally miserable to not having a computer at all
