I saw a 23" Apple Cinema Display (aluminum version, late 2006 model) today in great condition. It has an S-IPS panel. The one problem it has is one or two stuck pixels.

I want to buy this monitor, the price is reasonable, but stuck pixels are a deal-breaker for me. Should I buy it? I mean, are stuck pixels fixable?

Some times you can rub them out, personally I would pass unless it was a great deal (like $150or less and even then its iffy).

Surprising yes stuck pixels can possible be fixed by rubbing them out. I had one on my 3008 and I was just about to send it back and I tried rubbing it out of annoyance and it worked.

k since they told you that you can rub them out at times here is the warning also. When you are doing this DO NOT rub to hard you can cause More to Show up. I leanred my lesson. I had a monitor with one stuck pixel bothered me like crazy so I did the Rub trick and I was pressing pretty hard not thinking about it.

I made it worse good thing is I was able to return the Monitor Locally saying that the monitor was flawed wich was my fault
