We just got our 5th Dell E172FPb (17" analog LCD) at work today. The other 4 are perfect, everyone's loving them. I plugged this one in and was shocked to see a stuck red subpixel! About an inch from the left side, and 4 inches from the top. I really doubt the user would notice it... but it still annoyed me.
The boss came over to see how I was doing, and I pointed at the pixel. My hand twitched and I bumped the screen, right over the area where the stuck pixel was. It disappeared, then came back. I rubbed it a bit again, and it seems to be gone for good.
I suppose most of you have probably heard of trying to rub stuck pixels out... well, anyways, I didn't think it would work... but it did
