Hey guys,

I just setup fah6 on a SLES10.1 box and my client is having some issues...

I start it up with ./fah6 -bigadv -smp 8 -verbosity 9, and everything is all good up until the "Initial: 0000; - Receiving payload blahblah". It just sits there.

It shouldn't be a network issue, before that part it connects to assign.stanford.edu:8080


Any ideas? Thanks.
 
Woke up this morning and it was working. Took over 5 hours before it started downloading the work core. Hopefully that's the last it'll happen, maybe there site was getting raped.
 
There were some weird server issues going on, so that might have been the cause. Sometimes odd things like that just happen, and the only thing you can do is wait it out until Stanford fixes it.
 
Yea i had a similar issue last night.

Took me three hours.
 
Going thru my logs, I noticed 2 GPU clients that didnt get work for a few hours, but the other 5 were not affected
