So i have a Dlink wireless router. A Di-524

It works 100% on all my computers hooked directly up to it... Via ethernet.

The wireless also works with two different window's based pc's. But i can't get it to work with this mac. When i go to connect the network IS there. It says it's connected, but when i try anything that uses the internet it will not work. What gives?

It sounds like you have some kind of wireless security running, try putting those settings into the mac.

so how do i turn the wireless security off?

Don't do that unless you have to, see if you can find where you enter the wireless security settings on the mac. Also look through the routers config and make sure that MAC address filtering isn't turned on.

Does anyone know how to fix this? My roommate has a wireless router we setup and my pc and even my PDA work on the network, but his mac doesn't work at all. If you go in the about my mac thing it looks like the mac isn't being assigned an IP address from the router correctly. Anyone know how to fix this?
