I KNOW this was just asked in the last couple of weeks, but I couldn't find the post.

Basically, a friend of mine did a crap job priming the plastics of his case, real splotchy and missed alot, then proceeded to go ahead and paint over it. How do you go about removing the paint and primer, aside from trying to sand it off? Can I use these Graffiti/Spray paint removers from Home Depot?

anything dissolves paint will dissolve plastics... your best bet is to sand it over - doesn't have to be perfect - and use it for base coat.

yea, codeflux is right - anything that will eat through paint will eat through plastic as well.

- best bet is to just sand it smooth and prime it (IMO)

suck. can you apply primer over paint? i could probably light sand it down a bit to get a couple coats off so it doesn't look caked on. then prime it again to get a good even undercoat.
