I am looking for a possible all in one utility that will test HP desktop PC's.

I need to test for CPU, memory, and HDD stability.
I would prefer an HP utility, but it does not have to be.

I have searched and found bits and pieces of testing software but want a singular solution if possible.
Anyone know of any programs?
 
I don't believe you will find one due to the nature of it. I know dells have a built in series of tests into their BIOS, I believe HP computers do too. When you start the computer during the Bios start up screen look for a key to press like F1, F2, F3 etc. to enter a diagnostics test. If you don't see it go into the bios options and check there.

I worked on a dell the other day that and the bios tests went through CPU, Memory, Ram, Sound etc.. The one i was working on had a bad hard drive and it did fail the hard drive test.

If it is a home-brew system then I check the manufacturers website for the parts to see if they have their own testing utility. If they don't have one then I use a generic utility like prime95 for cpu, memtest for ram, folding@home for video card, and for hard drives i use one of the manufacturers utilities such as seagate. Those will definitely find a problem if there is one. Typically it will be caused from overheating or powersupply problem. Rarely do I find a bad CPU or memory stick. Lots of bad hard drives and a decent amount of failing graphics cards.
