I was hoping to get some opinions on a project I am the architect of at work. This seemed like the best forum to post it in. Basically we have a certain celebrity that wants the ability to do live video broadcasts via the internet. The idea is they can turn on their web cam from anywhere and broadcast on all of the TVs at my work that are normally used for advertising signage. The snag I am running into is they really want it to be fully automated with no having to connect clients with a bunch of manual work every time they broadcast.
I have some ideas, but I was hoping to get some feel back from others. Security is also a major issue as we would be allowing an outside connection in through our Firewall. Some facts about the network:
Have a public facing IP
DS/3 Line to the target site
VPN Solution in place
Open to a 3rd party provider (DSL, cable, etc) to simplify security issues.
