WTF Is going on with my computers , I have had this problem now with THIS computer and my other one.

And yeah wtf like over 1,000 days on a xp 3200+? then changes to 12.. Also It turned in the WU (says so in log file) BUT I didnt get any points, because last night it was the same as after it turned in points.

stanford does not update instantly. it can sometimes take a day or two to update.

also, the frame times are not accurate until it has done two or three at the same cpu load so it can get a good time difference thingy going on.

ah... Ok... And one have a private FTP with the Console version on it?

Also If I switch to console version half way threw a WU does it transfer to Console?

Wouldn't it just be easier to get the console from Stanford's website?
As to the second part of your question, all you have to do is swap the executables, and you'll be good to go. No loss of work, unless it's like a fraction of a frame or something. So swap 'em right when you finish a frame if you want to save like two minutes of CPU time.

Uses a few less cpu cycles, little more better... more stable.. etc..
not as pretty.. but less problems

historically, the graphical client is only useful for those who want pretty pictures without using EMIII. it causes problems for some reason. it probably isn't as good at reallocating resources or something...

you can also run the console as a service rather than having to be logged in, as with the client.

I'm running 15 consoles and 0 graphics here.
Use EMIII to monitor them.

Luck........ :D

Yeah, My next question is. Any program That can let me monitor them from say, School?

em3 can create a webpage that you can put up on a serv somewhere for you to peak at..

The code involved with calculating the time remaining is useless until the client finishes a frame, and even then it's still obviously buggy.

Stanford's probably working on it.

But the general gist of it - get console.

console makes CPUs happy.

Where do I get em3? Sounds interesting. So your saying. I get a free host like 250free.com And EM3 can update my page automaticly?

Note: Please read the license agreement (FAH502-Console.exe -license). Further
use of this software requires that you have read and accepted this agreement.

Known bug with EM3 and the 5 series of clients. Rename FAH502-Console.exe to FAH500-Console.exe, and EM3 will see it properly. Blame Stanford for breaking the pattern.
