ok, i have a set of logitech z-5500 5.1 speaker set. i bought these like a month ago and have been using them since without any issues. just recently, after play cs a few mins ago, i got off to play some music. what was strange was that the front left channel and the front center channel do not play anything. although i do notice some very low volume vocals on the front right. this is for the PLII music effect. when i change it to 6 channel direct, only the rear speakers work but the front 3 dont. now this is a very strange problem because its like out of nowhere this suddenly happens. i mean i figure that somehow the settings for these mustve been screwed up somehow, but without touching anything??? that doesnt make any sense. ive tried several diff mp3s that i often listen to, but the speakers just arent working properly for some reason right now. i turned off the speakers and turned them back on after 10 mins, hoping that would work, but nope. i restarted the computer too, but that didnt work either. so now im kinda stuck, and am requesting some assistance. thanks in advance for all those that respond.

edit: the channels work in game ex: cs, but do not work for music! :( does that help narrow down the problem? and i noticed the channels in the rear are like 10x louder than before when in the 6 channel direct effect, with the front being completly silent.

REEDIT: nm, i figured it out by rechecking the wires again. turns out that one of the wires for the front channels were loose. how silly of me.
