Strange temperatures....

I have an e6300 under a scyth ninja in a p180 and for some reason my idle and load temperatures are never too far apart. My idle temperature is 43 and the load is 46 on default clocks. When I OC to 3.2 my temps are ~55 idle ~60 load. I've noticed alot of people have up to a 20C difference in idle and load temperatures and I was wondering what could be causing this disparity.

I have a few thoughts, one is that I have a lian li hd cage sitting in the top 3 cd rom bays holding 4 hds and I think the heat from them may be being drawn in by the fans on the scythe.
