I have 2 7900 gs in sli. The system is new by a few days. Things seemd to be ok, though I have had a few windows issues. I loaded call of duty 2, clicked the sli option, the game went extremly fuzzy then it was like my monitor just shut down. Since then, I get some fuzzy action on the screen, usually on the sides. It not terrible, but you can easily tell its there. Sometimes it appears as the whole screen get slightly bigger and smaller. I used drive clean, put the drivers back in, same results. Opinions?

Can you take a screenshot of it? That may help us figure out what the problem is. Sometimes, problems like this don't show up in screenshots, but if it does, it'll help.

From your description, it sounds like one or more of the GPUs or Memory on the video cards is overheating. Is your case sufficiently cooled? Could you post some temperature readings?

Thanks,
Mark.

Post your complete system specs so that people can get a better idea of what you're dealing with. What about other games? Is it only COD2? Can you run 3dMark2K6 without any issues?

ok, system is as follows
asus m32n sli deluxe mobo
amd 4200 x2 am2
7900 gs in sli
2 gig crucial 6700
older 8 gig wd HD

3dmark 06 ran fine, 6534 total, sm2 3034, hrh 2910, cpu 1552, these scores about right for what I have?

I mostly notice the funny stuff on the desktop or with a window open. Games seem to run fine excpet I have not tried COD2 since things went nuts after I loaded it the first time.

GPU1 temp is 48 idle 58 after running 3dmark,GPU2 is 53 idle, 63 after
CPU is 31 before, 38 after

possibly a bad card. try taking one out and running with just one, and then take that one out and put the other card in by itself. see if one of them is messed up.

dude, whats up with the old HD?
lol when I first read that, I thought "that HAS to be a misstype" (8gb wd drive). I'm still guessing that it is
