I am not sure if this is video card related or the monitor itself, but everytime I start the computer or it comes out of sleep mode the screen flickers really fast for about 2-3 minutes, then it is fine. I'm not sure how to fix this. I have a samsung 226bw and a GTX 260 216. What would cause a screen to flicker constantly when the pc first loads or comes out of sleep mode. The operating system is windows 7 home premium 64-Bit.
 
That's an odd issue I've not seen before. It sounds like it might be the monitor at fault, though obviously I can't rule out the card either (or the cable)
