Strange Raid 0 Error. Probably my fault.

While hot swapping one archive drive for another, the Intel Matrix Storage Console said that an error occured and to back up my data from the Raid 0 Array. I'm guessing the raid portion of the controller doesn't take kindly to drive swapping or I bumped the sata/power line.

ICH10R

Ports 0-1 are the Raid 0.

The hot swapping occured on port 2.

The OS Boots fine, chkdsk seen nothing wrong and Volume Verification returned zero errors.

So I set the second drive in the array back to normal. *shrug*

Try recreating the error and if it happens again then you probably want to copy the data somewhere else.

Yep, nothing wrong with the raid array, will happen every time I disconnect and reconnect the drive on port 2.

And not the sata connector, just when doing the power connector, the drive on port 1 Is the drive before the one being disconnected. Wrenching the power cable does not cause it. Only connecting it to the third drive does. ICH10R being picky about power drain on the cable when the third drive is powering up?
