Hey guys... I'm stumped on something...
I have two drives.. an 18 gig SCSI and a 160gig IDE
The IDE was partitioned into two 2gigs or and the other filled with the freespace
Anyways.. I decided to format the 18 gig SCSI that held windows on it.. when I went into the windows installer it said that the C: drive was the 160 and the D: was the 18. I wanted the C; to be the 18 so I pulled the 160 and installed windows without the 160 in the computer.
Once windows installed on the 18gig... I booted into windows, but only one of the two partitions (the smaller one) of the IDE drive is showing. When I go into Acronis Partition expert it says there is one gigantic partition... but windows shows just one small one (When it should be one big and one small)
By installing windows without the 160gig did I mess up the MBR? It seems that the MBR was on the 160 (since it was being reported as C
and after the install the computer is looking at the 18 gig for the MBR but it doesn't hold the information for large 160 gig partition.
Anyways.. I'm sorry if this is all confusing and if I'm way off base on what I think the solution is... but I'd just like to know what i should do
