I have tried quite a few things to get any kind of overclock. I hope someone can help me think of somethig that I am forgeting. Here is my hardware:

Athlon64 3000 Venice, Gigabyte GA-K8NS Ultra. 1.2 gig Ram, 2 HD's IDE, DVD Burner, DVD Rom, floppy, Audigy2 ZS Plat Pro, X800Pro, ThermalTake 430 PSU

If I am forgetting something please forgive me. I have inched the FSB up a lil at a time and I can't get a stable OC. Even ifI go up 1MHz. That seems strange that I go unstable off of 1MHz. Is there anything I am missing in the BIOS? This is the first computer I have ever built that goes unstable so fast. Now I can run Prime95 and SuperPi and no probs, but any form of game and it locks up fast.

Thank you in advance for any form of help.

Whats ur RAM Voltage and CPU Voltage set at? It could be getting insufficient power

What memory divider are you using and what is your target cpu speed?

Ram V - 2.5
CPU V - 1.44

I just went to try to get it to 2GHz stable....more if I can, but not required.

Mem Divider? you lost me there.
