I have about 6 computers at home.

This computer (called A below) is very old, still a single core CPU. Normally, it can serve the internet not a problem.

If there are 2 other computers transferring files, they will eat up all the bandwidth, and this computer A could not use the internet anymore. It still has the ip address, but just keeps getting server not found error on the browser.
Two other computers transferring files are using windows share files feature, not like bittorrent.

The strange thing is that only this computer A has such problem, all other computers with better hardwares can still use the internet no matter how many computers are transferring files. The router does not have any QOS or priority setup.

Is there any reason to explain this? Or it's simply the hardware too old?

How is your network set up? do you just have the router connected to the 6 computers? What is the model of your router? Wired or wireless? Have you tried switching ports on your router?

yes, this computer A is running on 100 wired network into 1 single router.
other computers without this problem are even on wireless network

is your A running in half duplex by chance?

Can you give us a really detailed picture of the hardware, etc... that is on A. The model of your router, switch, hub, etc... any other pertinent information.
