Strange issue with Droid Razr Maxx

So, for no reason today, when I talk to someone, they say I sound like im breaking up. Phone is only like 2 months old. Only thing...last week i left it in my car. Came out and it said something about being hot, and it was telling me to shut down apps to keep it from getting hotter. Safe mode I guess. Think that would cause this to happen? It worked like 5 days after I left it in car.

I can see a phone getting really hot left in a car especially if you had the lte on too. Did you get a hold of Verizon to tell them your randomly having phone issues?
 
Well, not sure what happened. But yesterday I did an OS upgrade and it works now. Maybe that fixed it. Who knows. Thanks
