Strange error message - XP pro

On a computer where file sharing once worked, it does not anymore. Whenever I try to re-enable the share, I get the error message "Could not find network error messages." I searched on this and found nothing. Does anybody know what the problem is? Thanks.
 
Are you sure that's the exact error message? I find it very strange ANY error message would not produce any results on google.
 
Yup, that's the exact error message. I think that the networking must've somehow become corrupted.
 
Try to re-set the workgroup again, check your netbios setting, is it over TCP/IP or over IPX/SPX? Did you enable simple filesharing?
